This upcoming week, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) conference will be held in Denver, CO. The meeting will be held in person (May 1st-4th) and virtually (May 11th-12th). This year, the research will be hosted under the theme ‘Accelerating Discovery through Team Science,’ which embodies how the difficulties in vision science can be overcome when interdisciplinary teams collaborate and practice free sharing of ideas. ARVO will be a multifaceted conference as it will hold symposiums, poster presentations, keynote sessions and much more!
ARVO is the largest and most renowned eye and vision research organization globally. It was founded in 1928 in Washington, D.C., by 73 ophthalmologists, and today it comprises about 11,000 members spread in over 75 countries, consisting of clinical and basic researchers. ARVO’s mission is to advance research worldwide to better understand vision and prevent, treat, and cure eye disorders.
