We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our vibrant, fully remote team. In this role, you will oversee and manage various projects related to marketing and communications campaigns. You will work closely with client service, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets. We are looking for a Senior Meetings and Events Manager to join our vibrant, fully remote team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of client meetings and events, ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and execution from small internal gatherings to large-scale conferences. You will work closely with clients to develop their meeting objectives, requirements, and budget, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to handle logistical aspects such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation. Additionally, you will manage the registration process and maintain strong client relationships as their primary point of contact. You will oversee on-site logistics and operations, manage event staff, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and conduct post-meeting evaluations for continuous improvement. Budget management will involve negotiating contracts, tracking expenses, and providing financial updates.

If you’re the right person for this role, you will stay updated on emerging meeting technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance events. You will leverage event management software and virtual platforms to streamline processes. Effective communication and customer service will be crucial as you balance clients’ wishes, timelines, regulations, and budgets. You should be adaptable, handle business travel requirements, and maintain high standards in event planning, including understanding pharmaceutical guidelines and Sunshine Act reporting. Your detail-oriented approach, strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently will be essential. You should be comfortable taking the lead, working independently, and being a proactive team player. A basic understanding of audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshooting is necessary, along with a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and passion. Excellent communication skills, a focus on delivering high-quality results, and the ability to work under pressure are also important. Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of progressive event management experience.

Preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with Cvent, event management software, marketing, and attendee engagement.
