The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) will be holding its 10th Annual Vit-Buckle Society (VBS) meeting on March 24-26, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV. The aim of this meeting is to foster novel surgical, medical, and technological advances as a mean of improving the approach to retinal pathologies.
The ASRS was founded in 1982 and is considered the most prominent organization of retina specialists worldwide, with over 3000 physicians in 63 countries. The VBS holds fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeons, who have the common goal of contributing to innovative approaches to the surgical management of retinal conditions, as members of its society.
This meeting will cover controversies in the field of retina, such as the treatment and management of diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment, in the form of interactive debates. The 10th annual VBS meeting will have dynamic video-based surgical presentations, which will allow for the audience’s participation. It will also discuss the most recent modalities of retinal imaging and treatments. Furthermore, the VBS meeting will also touch on the business aspect by having retina sessions that will focus on private equity acquisition experiences. Another exciting part of this meeting is having a “Complications” session, where an honest discussion will be held about videos submitted by the audience!
